White Widow

Among the most famous strains worldwide is White Widow, a balanced hybrid first bred in the Netherlands by Green House Seeds. A cross between a Brazilian sativalandrace and a resin-heavy South Indian indica,  White Widow has blessed every Dutch coffee shop menu since its birth in the 1990s. Its buds are white with crystal resin, warning you of the potent effects to come. A powerful burst of euphoria and energy breaks through immediately, stimulating both conversation and creativity. White Widow’s genetics have given rise to many other legends like White RussianWhite Rhino, and Blue Widow. Still, many growers prefer cultivation of the original White Widow, which flowers in about 60 days indoors.

Review from driver T-roy:

Moderately sticky with a nice aroma, White Widow is one of those unassuming looking buds that burns smooth and tastes even better than it smells. After just a few hits I’m feeling up and creative, even focused and concentrated. And I must say I didn’t have that many hits to really feel the affects.  About forty minutes in I’m feeling introspective, and very creative, definitely mentally and spiritually enhanced more so than physically.  This is the strain you smoke to figure out a problem, or to reflect.  But for medicinal purposes, this is a great daytime for anxiety as I felt so mentally awake, while physically I even want to go so far as to say I was relaxed.  The tokes are smooth and won’t be too harsh on your throat.  Re-upping after a few hours brings all the best parts of White Widow coming back strong.  White Widow is definitely the most gentle of of the last three sativas I've tested and reviewed in the last week but don’t let that fool you.  For stress, anxiety, or problem solving WW will definitely steer you to calmer waters, but cerebral and imaginative ones too.
