Nightmare OG

Summary

Heavy and relaxing with a taste of euphoria.  This strain expresses typical indica traits.

Genetics and General Information

A cross of OG18 and White Nightmare, Nightmare OG was bred by Sin City Seeds to celebrate OG18, one of their favorite strains from DNA Genetics. The result is a strain with blueberry and lemon notes mixed among a piney OG. The powerful high may be sedative, so if you’re looking for a new couch-locking OG cultivar, give Nightmare OG a try.

Review

 By Mike

I have not had the chance to do a proper review of this strain but I have smoked and enjoyed it quite a bit.  The smell is a bit over everything.  I smell that earthy/nutty typical of many OG indicas.  But there are also some sweet and piney hints more common in modern strains where everything is a blend of so many strains that you get a bit of all the terpenes.  Smoke is smooth with more of a nutty aftertaste.  Effects remind me a bit of skywalker.  Initially a well balanced high that can put a smile on your face than transitions to a more sedative state with some time and additional hits.

Medicinal Uses:

THC dominant Indica strains such as Nightmare OG tend to act as more of a sedative or relaxant for most people.  Many patients have reported great success in treating the symptoms of medical conditions such as anxiety, chronic pain, insomnia, muscle spasms, digestive issues and tremors.

Some people, particularly those who have been diagnosed ADD or ADHD can have the Indica/Sativa scale flip on them.  For many of these patients Indicas will provide the effects typical of Sativas.  This can cause THC dominant Indica strains such as Nightmare OG to tend to act as more of a stimulant with a cerebral or "heady" high.   These patients will likely have better success treating symptoms in the areas of appetite stimulation, relieving depression, migraines, chronic pain and nausea.
